BELGIUM: Master Mind Scholarships 2022: What Exactly Is BELGIUM: Master Mind Scholarships 2022 About? Through the Master Mind Scholarships, the Flemish Ministry of Education and Training offers master’s program scholarships to excellent students from throughout the world to study in Flanders and Brussels. To be eligible for the award, students must first get a conditional offer of acceptance from participating institutions.

Eligibility Status
- All nationalities are welcome;
- Enroll in a Master’s degree program at a Flemish institution of higher learning;
- Achieved a high academic achievement level: 3.5 out of 4.0 grade point average: Please use the GPA calculator to figure out your grade point average.
- English language competence;
- To be eligible for the Master Mind Scholarships, you must be accepted into a master’s program at a Flemish higher education institution that is eligible;
- Applicants must have graduated from a higher education institution outside of Flanders with a previous degree. The Master Mind Scholarship is still open to international students who have completed a degree mobility program at a Flemish institution.
Deadline
Scholarship deadline: April 29, 2022
Each participating institution has its own deadline for application.

Application Process
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Have submitted an application to one of the Master Mind Scholarship Program’s Flemish host institutions;
- After the host institution accepts your application, the host institution will begin the Master Mind scholarship application process by creating an application file in the Mobility-Online tool, and you will receive an email from the Mobility-Online tool informing you that you have been pre-selected for a Master Mind scholarship;
- Once you’ve received the email, you’ll need to sign up for the Mobility-Online tool to finish your application before the deadline.
Documents to be uploaded include the following:
- A photograph for your passport;
- An international passport or a national identification card;
- a curriculum vitae; – a cover letter; – a résumé
- A certified translation must be enclosed if the records are written in a language other than Dutch, French, German, or English.
- The host university’s English language test results or a letter of exemption;
- An English-language motivation letter;
- Two signed recommendation letters in English from lecturers or professors from your previous home university or recent workplace;
- vA certified translation of the degree certificate(s) if written in a language other than Dutch, French, German, or English.
What the scholarship offers
- a tuition fee waiver per academic year;
- accommodation costs;
- insurances; and
- living expenses.
Master Mind Scholarship does not cover administrative enrolment fees.
Grants are paid in installments. Please see the Payment of the Scholarship to see how the scholarship will be disbursed.
Note:
Successful candidates are expected to make provision for all other expenses not covered under this scholarship, i.e. health insurance, flights, additional tuition costs above the tuition offer.
