Renmin University of China Master of Contemporary Chinese Studies Scholarship: What Is Renmin University of China Master of Contemporary Chinese Studies Scholarship About? For the 2022 academic year, the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China in Suzhou is offering scholarships to students interested in pursuing a two-year full-time Master of Contemporary Chinese studies at Silk Road School, Renmin University of China.
Eligibility Status:
- Do not have Chinese citizenship;
- Hold a bachelor’s degree issued before August 31, 2020;
- Have a good command of the English language;
- You must be under 35 years old;
- Be in good physical and mental health.
Applicants must fill out an application online at http://international.ruc.edu.cn/application.
The Scholarship Packages
- Tuition fees;
- Accommodation subsidy;
- Medical insurance; and
- Living allowance for the duration of the programme.
Application process
At the time of application, all scholarship applicants must have already paid the application fee.
Included in the application are the following documents:
- A certified copy of your driver’s license or passport;
- Copies of your bachelor’s degree certificate as well as your academic transcript;
- Personal statement (in English): the statement must include information on your educational and professional experience, academic research accomplishments, research plans, and post-graduation career plans.
- Two letters of recommendation from academic teachers;
- Certificates of English competence;
- Physical Examination Form for Foreigners;
- Certificate of English Proficiency;
- Demonstration of Financial Capability;
- A guarantee letter;
- A certificate of clearance from the police;
- If necessary, copies of published academic papers, awards, or other research findings may be included.
- All documents must be legible and in PDF format (no photographs of documents will be accepted).
