Scholarship Programmes In Participating Universities in China: What Exactly Is Scholarship Programmes In Participating Universities in China About? International students participating in Chinese Government Scholarship Programs (hereinafter referred to as scholarship students) will be assigned to Chinese higher education institutions (HEIs) or Chinese research institutes designated by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as MOE) to pursue their proposed studies in science, technology, agriculture, medicine, economics, law, management, education, history, liberal arts, and philosophy.

Degree level

The scholarship is mostly offered for undergraduate (Bachelor’s) studies, postgraduate (Master’s or PhD) or online non-degree Chinese language studies.

Masters applicants must be under 35 years of age. PhD applicants must be under 40 years of age.

An application and administration fee of $50 to $100 will be charged by Hongzhou Learning (approximately R750 – R1500). You will be assisted in drafting your application as part of the scholarship application service in order to improve your chances of getting the award.
