Vodacom VodaPay Partner Competition: Vodacom VodaPay Partner Competition? The VodaPay Partner Competition Competitions (a series of “Competitions”) are being run by Vodacom Payments Services Company and Vodacom (Pty) Ltd (collectively “Vodacom”), where new and existing VodaPay customers can win one of several prizes that will be awarded in weekly intervals and will focus on a different partner proposition each week.
How Do I Get Involved?
To qualify, customers must complete all of the following steps:
- Download the VodaPay app
- Successfully register on the app
- Link one or more bank cards
- Complete the precise activity specified on the VodaPay social media platforms (these may vary by partner, at Vodacom’s discretion).

Eligibility
- Employees, directors, and agents of Vodacom Group Companies and all participating stores, as well as their immediate families, life partners, business partners, and associates, as well as anyone directly involved in the sponsorship, devising, production, management, or marketing of this Competition, are all eligible to enter.
- Participants must be residents of South Africa and have a valid South African identity document, permanent residency permit, or temporary residence permit valid for a period of more than three (three) months in the Republic of South Africa at the End Date.
- The Competition is only open to natural persons (at least 18 years and older). Entries received from business accounts held by legal persons (amongst other Corporates and SMEs, etc.) are excluded from participating and winning in the Competition.
Draw for a prize
The winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries that meet all of the requirements set forth in these Terms and Conditions on or after the End Date. After being selected and verified as a winner, the verified winners will be notified within three (3) business days. The winner will be chosen at random.
Validation of the Winner
- Vodacom will monitor, capture, and approve all information given or relevant to this Competition.
- Vodacom will disclose personal information about the winners, such as their name and phone number, with a Vodacom-approved third-party agency (VMLY&R), who will tell the winners that they have won the Competition, and you hereby agree to such disclosure as is required to fulfill the prize.
- Based on the contact information provided by the participants to participate in the Competition, Vodacom will make reasonable efforts to contact the winners through direct message on their social media profile or via phone call.
- After the winners’ names are announced, Vodacom will attempt to contact them for 3 (three) normal working week days.
- ** The winners will be contacted between the hours of 8 (eight) a.m. and 5 (five) p.m. during normal business hours. At the time of contacting the selected winners, they will be informed of reward arrangements.
- If a participant does not respond to the contact information supplied within the timeframe specified above, or if that person rejects, forfeits, or declines to accept the prize, that person’s entitlement to the prize will be deemed renounced, and the prize will be forfeited.
Prize distribution
- All relevant rewards will be paid immediately to the winner’s default VodaPay wallet.
- All prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-redeemable for cash.
- If a winner is unable to accept a prize for any reason, the prize will be offered to the next entrant on the list.
- Upon transfer/delivery of the prizes, all risks and ownership of the prizes pass to the winners, and Vodacom’s obligations in relation to the Competition and the prizes are terminated. Prizes to be collected are as follows:
Vouchers = promo code to be redeemed in app
Makro items = home delivery or collect in store
Vodaworld voucher = collect at Vodaworld (Gauteng winners only)
